Coolmore-owned Storm Boy made a cruisy return to the trials at Randwick this morning. The hot colt cruised to sit just outside the leader Moravia before getting his head down on the line to take out the third trial of the morning.
Regular Jockey James McDonald was pleased with the colts efforts, considering it was a quiet trial first up.
“Storm Boy was fine today. Obviously only there to have a look around being his first trial back but, he did everything that he was asked of. Second trial he will do a bit more and will be gaining fitness along the way.”
