Contender – Bella Nipotina $4.40: She’s the best sprinter in the land; not much more needs to be said!
Pretender – Overpass $5.50: Great win in the Sydney Stakes, but this competition is next level. Bella Nipotina, Giga Kick, and Sunshine are in Paris, all in front of him.
CONTENDER V PRETENDER – CHAMPIONS MILE
Contender – Mr. Brightside $6: Back to the mile, big track, perfect alley; the race sets up really well for him.
Pretender – Pride of Jenni: One word: stupidity. She showed she’d had enough last start; Ciaron said he can’t set her for two Grand Finals, and this makes the third. Plus, the fact you’ve ripped Declan off is a disgrace. On the path to ruin a good horse.
