SPRING RAIDERS

The spring fate of two of Harry Eustace’s gallopers lies in the hands of the Ebor Handicap in York this weekend.

Crystal Delight has eyes on a possible Caulfield Cup tilt with a rating of 105. “Australia has been something we’ve had in the back of our minds for Crystal Delight, as long as plans went the way we hoped they would,” Eustace said.

Ziggy, a last-start winner at York, will only make the trek to Australia should he win the Ebor and secure a place in the prestigious Melbourne Cup.

Meanwhile, stablemate Docklands is set on a Cox Plate mission, with a run in the G1 Juddmonte International at York before quarantine. Docklands’ strong performance at Royal Ascot made him a sure Cox Plate contender, where he’s currently at $26 in the market with bookmakers.
