Francis Lui takes out the Hong Kong trainers’ championship for the first time, sealing victory with a quartet – and a win in the last race of the 2023/24 season. Lui combined with Zac Purton for a mid-meeting treble but then clinched the title in the final race of the season, with Hugh Bowman’s top steer on Lui’s “Patch Of Theta” delivering Lui the championship.
